Tiie following case is very similar to that related by Dr. Wise :?* At a caste meeting of Bowris in December 18G8, one Tarachand Bowry (the prisoner) was sentenced to pay a fine, which he refused to do, and upon being remonstrated with by ono Doorgacliurn, attempted to kick him; a row ensued, and the wifa of Doorgacliurn, hearing it, came from her house, and, upon abusing Taracliand, was attacked by him and kicked in the abdomen. She fell down, and the same night expired from the effects of the kick. I found, on making the post-mortem examination, a large quantity of blood in the peritoneal cavity.
